Move It is a ride-hailing app that is available in the Philippines. It is a subsidiary of Grab, one of the leading ride-hailing companies in Southeast Asia.

Move It offers a moto-taxi service, a motorcycle taxi popular in the Philippines. The app allows users to book a ride, track their driver’s location in real time, and pay for their ride using a credit or debit card.

Move It offers several safety features, such as in-app calls for protected mobile numbers, an enhanced safety center, and emergency contact inputs.

Move It service areas

Move It currently operates in the following service areas in the Philippines:

• Metro Manila: Manila, South QC, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Pateros, Taguig, Pasay, Paranaque, Taytay, and Cainta
• Caloocan: The rest of QC (started June 9, 2023), South Caloocan (started June 9, 2023), Valenzuela (started June 30, 2023), Malabon (started June 30, 2023), and North Caloocan (started June 30, 2023)

Step 1. Documentary Requirments

Personal

• Professional Driver’s License with Code Restriction 1
• NBI Clearance o Resibo ng pinagbayaran para sa schedule ng pagkuha ng NBI Clearance
• Barangay Clearance
• Covid 19 Vaccination Card
• Health Certificate mula sa DOH Accredited clinics (Fit to work, pwedeng to-follow)

Motorcycle Documents

• Certificate of Registration (CR)
• Official Receipt (OR)
• Photos of vehicle (all sides)
• Letter of Authority o Deed of Sale (kung hindi sa iyo nakapangalan ang sasakyan)
• ID ng kung kanino nakapangalan ang CR

Allowed Motorcycle with Move It

• 100 cc to 155 cc
• 2017 to 2023 year model at in good condition (subject to Move It inspection and approval)
• Sporty, Enduro is not allowed.

Step 2. Move It Rider’s Hiring Form

Step 3. Download the Move It Rider App

Register and upload the required documents.

Step 4. Proceed to any Move It Training Center 

At the Move It Training Center, expect the following:

• Motor Inspection
• Skills Assessment
• App Training
• Releasing of gears and uniforms (Paalala: Kailangan mag-top up ng P600.00 para sa gear at uniform deposit)
• Account Activation
